So, I went to Pinterest and searched “florals.” Ohmigosh, I just wanted to dive into the internet.
Here’s what I found…and loved—including some items I hunted up all by myself.
It’s sort of lovely around here today. Muddy, rainy, yes. But the birds are chirping their fool heads off and rain is not snow. So that is good.
Here’s a poem.
A little madness in the Spring
Is wholesome even for the King,
But God be with the Clown —
Who ponders this tremendous scene —
This whole Experiment of Green —
As if it were his own!
- Emily Dickinson
I am so not ready to let go of the holidays. I usually get a little sad when they’re over. Last year I remember asking Ben (yup, that’s the Tall Guy—I named him on the blog!), “What’s winter without Christmas?” He responded simply, “Narnia.” Ouch.
So I tend to find little ways to keep the spirit lively around the house. This year I’m keeping my twinkly light heart wreath up until at least Valentine’s Day. Then I’m sure I’ll be bored with it and longing to rearrange the mantel.
I also found these other fantastic ways to keep lights up long after the holidays.
Fun, right? Plus, when it warms up, we can bedeck our outdoor spaces…
Hi all! Just a quick post today. I’m still working my editing muscles in a serious way over here. But I came across that amazing bronze bench and couldn’t resist treating myself to a metallic themed post. Also, when fall hits, I think in metallics.
